WHEEL SUOMENKIERTUEELLE LOPPUSYKSYSTÄ
Vuonna 2015 perustettu WHEEL on vakiinnuttanut asemansa yhtenä Suomen mielenkiintoisimmista proge-metalliakteista. Kulmikkaat riffit ja unohtumattomat melodiat ovat helsinkiläisyhtyeen tavaramerkki ja kantava teema.
Uusi ”Charismatic Leaders” -albumi merkkaa yhtyeen uran seuraavan luvun alkaneeksi. ”Tämä on se raskas albumimme”, laulajakitaristi James Lascelles toteaa. ”Ihmisille, jotka pitävät metallista ja pitävät Wheel-musiikista, tämä on heille.”
Uuden pitkäsoiton myötä WHEEL palaa keikkalavoille. Lokakuun lopussa yhtye aloittaa Euroopan kiertueensa kuudella kotimaan keikalla.
Lämmittelijänä keikalla RIOGHAN
RIOGHAN on vuonna 2019 Lapualla perustettu raikas tuulahdus progemetallin piiriin. Bändiin kuuluvat laulaja Rioghan Darcy, multi-instrumentalisti Teemu Liekkala (Red Eleven), kitaristi Tero Luukkonen (Red Eleven), basisti Antti Varjanne (Joviac, Time Primer) sekä rumpali Valtteri Revonkorpi (Leverage). Rioghanin vuoden 2022 debyyttialbumi `Differents Kinds Of Losses` tehtiin yhteistyössä Jonas Renksen (Katatonia), Einar Solbergin (Leprous) sekä Teemu Koskelan (ex- Celesty) kanssa, ja julkaisu keräsi laajaa kiinnostusta genressä. Nyt toisen albumin ollessa viimeistelyä vaille, Rioghan palaa esiintymislavoille intoa täynnä. Vahvasti sekä gootti- että progemetallin genreistä ammentava yhtye tuo varmasti mielenkiintoisia sävyjä palettiin.

WHEEL TO TOUR FINLAND IN LATE AUTUMN 2024
Formed in 2015, WHEEL established themselves as one of Finland’s most exciting metal exports. Angular riffs and unforgettable melodies are not only the trademark of the combo from Helsinki but also a resistant central theme of WHEELs music. The new album Charismatic Leaders will mark the next chapter of the bands career and engages with a sensitive topic which the trio shaped into a seven-song prog metal opus. “This is our heavy album,” singer and guitarist James Lascelles states. “For the people who like metal and are into Wheel music, this is the one for them. It’s not like we’ve become a caricature of the previous albums, but we’ve definitely moved in a more metal direction, and we wanted to make a metal album.” With the new long player onboard WHEEL will be also returning to the live stages. End of October the band will kick off their European tour in Finland which will lead them to Tampere, Kuopio, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Lahti and Oulu.

Rioghan’s debut album ‘Different Kinds Of Losses’ was made in collaboration with Jonas Renkse (Katatonia), Einar Solberg (Leprous) and Teemu Koskela (ex-Celesty), and it was rolled out during 2022 sparking interest widely within the genre. With second album now well on the way, Rioghan returns to live stages with a spectacular show. Rooted deeply in both gothic and progressive metal scenes, they sure should bring something interesting on the table.
